Have you ever wondered what kind of information is collected about you when you visit a website? Probably not; At least, that is, until you go to a familiar site and it says at the top of the page, “Hello Joe,” (assuming your name is Joe), “Would you like another [last thing you bought from them]?” Isn’t it odd that some websites will display ads for shops, restaurants or car dealerships that are always in your neighborhood?
